Canadian goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld just signed a deal with Romanian league leaders CFR Cluj. He was signed from Norwegian squad Rosenborg BK who in turn aquired the ’02 Gold Cup Goalkeeper of the Tournament from Tromsø I.L. He started his career in the indoor league with the Edmonton Drillers and also played for Energie Cottbus in Germany, Calgary Storm and Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada, Tottenham Hotspurs, Luton Town, Gillingham F.C. and Leicester City in England, and Dundee United in Scotland.
