Tottenham Hotspurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson is still considered one of the best goalkeepers in the country by his former England coach Sven Goran Eriksson. The future of Robinson playing for the National Team seems unclear, but Eriksson publicly supports Robinson, whom made his debut for England in a friendly against Australia in 2003 under Eriksson. Tomorrow Eriksson’s side Manchester City will be playing against Robinson and the Spurs and although the Swede hopes Robinson will come off worst, he still believes that the goalkeeper is top-class. "There is no doubt Paul Robinson is a top-class keeper," said Eriksson. "He is a modern goalkeeper. He can use his feet, he is a very good kicker of the ball. He is steady and very professional. In one-on-one situations, he is very big. For sure, he is one of the best goalkeepers in the country. But whether he plays for England is someone else's problem."
