Czech Republic U-20 goalkeeper Radek Petr signed with Italian Serie A squad Parma yesterday. The talented young goalkeeper helped the Czech Republic National Team reach the finals at the U-20 World Cup last month. Radek signed a 4 year deal in Parma, according to his agent Tomas Klecka. He was acquired from Czech First Division team Banik Ostrava. Radek is regarded one of the best goalkeepers in his age group after his heroic performances during the U-20 World Cup against Japan and Spain and his key role in eliminating these countries in penalty shootouts.
