Portuguese goalkeeper Ricardo Batista, who was part of the Portugal U21 squad for Euro 2007 but did not play, has signed a 2 year extension to stay at Fulham.

The 20 year old former Vitoria Setubal goalie first joined the Craven Cottage squad in 2004 where he made his debut in a Carling Cup match against Lincoln. Batista was on loan to Coca-Cola Football League Two club Wycombe Wanderers this previous season where him and his team reached the semi-finals of the League Cup.
