This past weekend was a low scoring weekend in the English Premier League. Only five teams managed to score more than one goal which made the majority of the goalkeepers look really good. The best performing goalkeeper of the weekend was Manuel Almunia of league leaders Arsenal by saving all seven shots at goal in their clash against Chelsea. The worst performing goalkeeper this weekend in the EPL was American keeper Brad Friedel. The Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper had only one save and conceded five goals. This is the first time Brad conceded five goals since December of 2006 when Arsenal scored 6 goals on him. Maybe he should consider just going home for the holidays next year..... | Player Name | Minutes Played | Saves | Catches | Clean Sheets | | Manuel Almunia | 90 | 7 | 1 | 1 | | | | Player Name | Minutes Played | Saves | Catches | Goals Conceded | | Brad Friedel | 90 | 1 | 1 | 5 | | |
